Golf as a game has been around for hundreds of years and the exact origins are neither conclusive or well documented.
However, one piece of documented evidence is that held by the Musslebrugh Links of the first recorded game of golf, played there in 1672 by Sir John Foulis, an Edinburgh Lawyer
So what better way to remind ourselves of the relative (or NOT!) importance of that wayward tee shot or missed putt and put the whole thing in perspective than to enjoy a wonderful cup of 1672* coffee
