Fescue & Dunes is a premium e-commerce marketplace and marketing platform that connects iconic destination golf clubs with affluent, traveling golfers. Our model helps clubs expand their retail reach, increase pro shop revenue, and capture valuable customer data.We sign licensing agreements with iconic clubs and sell premium, logoed apparel and merchandise to golfers who, until now, could only purchase these items when they are on site at most clubs.Clubs get a dedicated landing page on the marketplace and can opt for a standalone store in cases where they want to use Fescue & Dunes as their primary e-commerce site.
Fescue & Dunes pays a premium royalty fee to our partner clubs - higher than any other company. Our goal is for the royalty to close to the margin performance in your shop. And, our retail prices are pegged at the price you have in your shop today.
There are no upfront costs or any ongoing fees to be a part of our marketplace. We pay for everything, including marketing, out of our revenue.
We will make quarterly or monthly payments based on the club’s preference. Payments are made via wire transfer to an account of the club’s choosing. Our books will be reviewed annually by an accounting firm to validate correct royalty payments.
We provide monthly reporting of all items sold. We ask golfers to ‘opt in’ to marketing from Fescue & Dunes and our partner clubs. Clubs receive a list of all golfers who have purchased an item that bears their logo.
We purchase all of the inventory that we sell. We purchase most of the apparel and outerwear as ‘blanks’ that are decorated as sold on the marketplace. This allows us to have a broader spread of products from our partners.
Our catalog is made up of premium golf apparel and accessories. We work with key partners who we believe make some of the best products in the industry. Much of our catalog will complement what you currently sell.
We set retail pricing with our partner clubs. In most cases, our price matches or nearly matches the VAT inclusive in store price. We work with our partner clubs to ensure that the price on our marketplace continues to encourage onsite purchases from your pro shop. We look at the marketplace as an additional revenue stream, not a competitive one.
We currently prioritize marketing to American golfers who are likely to take overseas trips to play golf. However, we can fulfill sales to golfers anywhere.
We plan to add fulfillment and distribution in Oceania and Europe in 2026.
We work with our partner clubs to understand their brand and brand rules, get high resolution versions of their logo for reproduction, and gather any existing DST files currently in use.
Our logistics partner, Next Level Resource Partners, is the North American partner for premium golf apparel companies. Every piece sold in US golf clubs has been decorated by NLRP so they have a track record of producing high end golf apparel. As an additional quality assurance measure, we run sew outs for each new club and logo.
We have heard from top clubs that being able to leverage the value of their brand is a key part of their ongoing growth and success and that exclusive licensing agreements would unnecessarily limit them. We agree, and our licensing agreement provides clubs that flexibility.
The Licensing Agreement has a two year term, but clubs can elect to get out of the Agreement with a 60 day notice without penalty.
Some clubs on our platform will continue to run their own e-commerce site/store. However, this is a pain point for most destination golf clubs, and our approach is turnkey eliminating the need to ask existing staff or hire additional staff to fulfill ecommerce orders or manage inventory.
Many clubs will elect to use the standalone store offering as their e-commerce store.
Core to our value to our partner clubs is our persistent marketing to golfers who travel to play. We pay for and run sophisticated multi-channel digital marketing that keeps our marketplace and the clubs that participate top of mind. We will be re-investing over 20% of our revenue in our marketing programs.
