Founded in 1959, the club moved to its current Murvagh links in the 1970s, where it evolved into one of Ireland’s premier championship courses. Originally designed by legendary Irish architect Eddie Hackett and later refined by Pat Ruddy, the course is a pure expression of natural links routing shaped by the land itself.

Set on the Murvagh Peninsula, the course stretches across a 180+ acre links landscape that juts into the Atlantic, surrounded by dunes, coastline, and ever-changing sea breezes.
