The Story of County Sligo Golf Club
County Sligo Golf Club, part of The Wild Atlantic Links, is set in the seaside village of Rosses Point beneath the iconic Benbulben mountain. Designed by Harry Colt, it is one of Ireland’s great championship courses and has hosted the West of Ireland Amateur Open since 1923.
Every round at County Sligo is shaped by its dramatic setting—elevated tees, undulating fairways, and panoramic views of the Atlantic. It’s a true test of skill, wrapped in one of Ireland’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes.
