The Story of Dunaverty Golf Club

Founded in 1889 by local farmers and townsfolk, Dunaverty Golf Club is an authentic, natural links set at the southern tip of the Kintyre Peninsula. Woven between rolling farmland and the sea, the course rests under the historic gaze of Dunaverty Rock, offering a tranquil and timeless coastal layout.

Though weathered by the war years, the links were lovingly restored by dedicated local volunteers. Today, it remains a meticulously kept hidden gem, proud of its community roots and its legacy as the home course where British Women’s Champion and Curtis Cup legend, Belle Robertson, first learned the game.
